If Ziggy Comics Didn't Sugarcoat Anything

I was browsing TVtropes at work today and found this image on the Ziggy page.

I think that pretty much sums up what every Ziggy comic is really trying to say underneath the bad puns.

Here's my attempt (today) at making Ziggy funnier.

I never realized before how creepy Ziggy is, if there is ever a cartoon that shouldn't be allowed to go pantsless it is him.

It's hard to feel sorry for Ziggy, he's just so pathetic that I've started to think he deserves every PUNishment dealt to him.

Do you read The Comics Curmudgeon? I only recently heard about it, but this post reminded me of that site. The guy lampoons dull newspaper strips.

Ha ha, yeah, he is pretty weird looking. He's a poorly drawn lump with a big nose and no pants.

I used to read the CC quite a bit. I don't know why I stopped. I should get back into it again, the commentors were almost as good as the posts!
